Braces and Aligners

Braces

Orthodontic braces are specialized dental devices used to correct misaligned teeth and jaws. Consisting of brackets, wires, and bands, braces work by applying gentle pressure to gradually shift teeth into proper alignment over time. The brackets are bonded to the front surface of the teeth, and the wires are threaded through them and adjusted periodically by the orthodontist.

Modern braces come in various materials such as metal, ceramic, or clear aligners, offering aesthetic options for patients. Braces effectively treat issues like overcrowding, gaps, crookedness, and bite misalignment, ultimately enhancing dental function, appearance, and long-term oral health.
